Description: Documentary about the famous club Bar 25 on the Spree riverside in Berlin, which was opend in 2004 and closed in 2010. During its six years existence, a film team followed the four proprietors behind the scenes. Christoph, Steffi Lotta, Danny and Juval, who always dreamt of a life free from conventions, built an adult fair on barren land. It became a place for music, art, and joie de vivre, and as a form of playful protest, stood for the idea of a self-determined life. Yet it was even more: Behind the wooden fence, there was a club, a restaurant, a bar, a hostel and even a circus. Time didn't matter there, and soon the endless parties and shenanigans became the stuff of legend. However, the development of the Spree riverside also affected the Bar 25, and the end of this unique microcosm within Berlin was certain to come.
